Defending The Bible

In my teaching on defending the Bible, I am going to let you know why I and other such believers as I am put our utmost faith in the holy Bible, which we all believe that is the words spoken by God himself. Let me tell you what the definition of faith is according to the Bible itself.

Hebrews 11:1–3 (KJV 1900)

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The above scripture tells us that everything that was created was created by someone that is invisible. The spiritual things are invisible, but the spiritual things are also eternal and all physical things are not eternal. As you can see faith is not an opinion, it is however a belief that is based upon knowledge that comes from the words of God (The Holy Bible). Without the knowledge of the bible, you cannot and will not Believe.

All Spiritual matters can only be understood through God’s Word, the Bible.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The word of God is the Holy Bible.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

In the book of Deuteronomy, God spoke and wrote in his own writing on two tablets of stone. We all believe that these are what’s called today “the 10 Commandments”. The holy Bible was also written by God. God spoke to 40 men over thousands of years in those men pin the Bible in their own language to parchment that we call paper or scrolls. If you ever read something from the Bible scriptures, you will find this to be true. Many Christian believers when trying to share what they have faith in, find out that the person or people that they are sharing the word with does not believe that the Bible was written by God. They proclaim that the Bible were written by men. And these people are not even half right. For instance, if I dictate to you a document and I asked you to send the document out. Who is responsible for the words on the document? Is it you who actually used the pin to write the document or is it me who told you what to write. Rather, what you wrote was right or wrong, the responsibility of the document that you wrote is my responsibility, because the words came from me and not you. This is how the Bible was written by men. These men did not know one another, so I asked you, how could they write the same thing over thousands of years and say the same things? I am going to attempt to tell you how and why we who are believing Christians, put our faith in the word of God called the holy Bible.

The Subject of Salvation

The subject of salvation is something that all mankind on earth must understand. You must understand salvation because one day the body that you live in is going to die. Hopefully when you grow old. But if you are old or young, one day you will die. The problem itself is not dying; the problem is living what is called life. Never really knowing what real life is or understanding why we must die. And yes, we must die. That may sound somewhat morbid to you but the bodies that we live in only have a certain time that they can live. Now I am sure that you wonder why this is so, this is where the holy Bible comes in. The answers to those questions of why it’s in the holy Bible, and no man on earth knows why except they learn from the holy Bible. I am going to give you a hint of a reason and it is just one reason. It’s one reason that happens to be the main reason. Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and admired what you look like? Have you ever examined yourself as to whether you are good, bad, good, evil, a liar, trustworthy, and lovable or hateful? Truthfully speaking, does any of those things have to do with who you are? Do you ever look at a man or a woman with lust? Have you ever stolen anything that wasn’t yours? Have you ever curse people or curse that all? Did you know that when you curse you are using words that called demons by their names and invite those demons into your life so that they can destroy you? If you answer yes to any of those things, do not reply that everyone does it, because if that is your reply, then I have made my point. Now you know why people must die. And do not tell me that you disagree because you will be telling a lie. You do not want someone lusting after your wife or your husband. You do not want anybody to tell you lies would you want to truth. You do not want anybody to be cursing at you but talk like they got some sense. And you would like to make friends or at least be able to trust those whom you call your friends. Again, now you know why people must die. All of those things that I have just mentioned is called sin. The definition of sin is transgression against God’s law (10 Commandments).

Romans 6:23 (KJV 1900)

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

At this point, do you still think man wrote the Bible?

Because all of us has committed sin one way or another, we put our faith in Jesus Christ because he took our sins so that we will not go to hell, even though we have sinned many times against God.

I may add that there is no one who can dispute that you will die one day. But the Bible itself, and only the Bible can tell you why. The Bible also tells you that character of God in the words that are written in the Bible that comes from him. So if you want to know who God really is, you must study his words in the holy Bible, and you will come to know a lot of things, not all things but you will come to know enough things about God to put your absolute faith in God. The Bible says that God created you. The Bible said that God created all human beings. The Bible explained what a human being is. If you don’t know then you two must read the Bible. The word human being was not made up by any man. Humans are what we are. But what is a human. And if God made human beings, why? All the answers about life is in a book called the Bible that mankind could not have written. Yet people say it. That man wrote it and I don’t know why. The Bible also says that God made planet Earth and all the stars in the heavens. Yet mankind doesn’t talk about that but they tell you how old earth is, as if they were there when it was created. It sounds stupid I know but that is what people say about the Bible itself. You would be surprised to know that the law that’s in all courts comes from God. Not all of them, only the just laws. Because God himself is a just God. It is time for me to explain to you about salvation which I learn the Bible. When God created us, he created us (mankind, human beings) in his own image, in his own likeness.

Genesis 1:26 (KJV 1900)

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So, what does that mean to you and me and all the rest of mankind? That means that when your life is over, it is only over here on earth. When you die, you do not cease to exist except here on earth. If you die and they put you in the ground, people could not see you anymore. Even if they dug up your corpse, the only thing they will find is what remains of you. They could not talk to you and you could not talk to them but, you are still alive. You are just not on earth anymore. At the time of your death, you will be in one other two places. You will either be with God, or you will be in a place called hell. You will be surprised that people only go to hell when they choose to. God does not send people to hell.

In the beginning God made mankind to live forever that mankind would never ever die. What happened, did God change his mind, no, God did not change his mind. God never changes. Not that he doesn’t change his mind. He never changes who he is. Mankind did something that caused all of mankind to die and that was man sinned against God and sin carry the death sentence. I told you that you would never die and so I don’t want you to get mixed up or confuse you. You see, if you could die, why would it matter to you if you went to hell? The fact of the matter is that you cannot die. That’s why you don’t want to go to hell. Because whatever is in hell, you will experience that what is in hell forever. You cannot get out of hell for good behavior. Remember what I told you, you chose hell yourself. The choice is yours not God’s. And although you are alive after you die, the decisions you made when you were on earth, you carry with you for eternity either in heaven or hell. People always tell you can’t take it with you. It is true. You cannot take anything materialistic from his earth. But you can take anything that you do that is good or evil. Such as taking care of poor people who cannot repay you when you help them, loving God more than anything on earth. Obeying God’s word that’s in the holy Bible or disobeying God. It is not easy to do what is right always, but if you practice them and study the Bible through, that you would know God and that you would know the difference between good and evil, you will have time to get better and grow in the grace (unmerited favor) of God.

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before your life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

The word seed here means your family as well and you. I have told you that you have a choice. If you do not believe that the Bible is God’s word, then you have no choice at all. You are already dead, according to the Bible. We who are on earth live in time. All of us know that time has a beginning and an end. As you know, the only way you can make a choice, is you have two things to choose from. Because you don’t believe the Bible is the Bible, you have nothing to choose from except your own way and that is not a choice. Because that represents only one thing you news a Christian faith is not an opinion believe in yourself.

All of those things that I have just mentioned is called sin. And every person in the world does some aspect of those things either to people or to God.

The definition of sin is transgression against God’s law the (10 Commandments).

At this point, do you still think man wrote the Bible?

Because all of us has committed sin one way or another, if we put our faith in what Jesus Christ has done because he took our sins so that we will not go to hell after we have been judged even though we have sinned many times against God.

Everything that you want to know about yourself, other people, why you get sick, why people grow old and die, why some people have and some people have not, why some people love God and why some people hate God, where did people come from? Did people come to this earth from another planet? Is evolution true? If evolution is not true, why not? What really happens when anyone dies? Why should anything I did matter in this life When I die? If I die then nothing else can happen to me, is that true? If I pray does God hear me? does God hear people who does not know him? What does God have to do with me or anyone on earth? Every answer to the questions above, are answered in the holy Bible. God created this world called earth and everything that is in the earth and on the earth. God though. Every human being is alive on earth. There is nothing about the earth that God does not know. There is nothing about you that God does not know.

Why the Bible called the holy Bible. Because the word holy means that is one way and he does not change. Only God is holy and only God is good. You will find this out. Once you start reading and studing the Bible, and once you do that you will be certain that God wrote the Bible for the whole world. God does not believe in religion. There are many religions because most everyone on earth is seeking God in their own way. Religion has no place because God himself is seeking people that they would know him. So as you can see, religion is not necessary. People practice religion because religion is their way of making all the rules and regulations. In Christianity, there are no rules and regulations, but you must find that out by reading the Bible, which is the word of God. Let me give you an example of people practicing religion. As I have told you before people love their religion, is because they make the rules and regulations. They say they are good people, even when they know they are not. They think if they are good, they can enter God’s house. Let me ask you a question. If someone comes to you and tells you that they are good, but you don’t know anything about them. But you have heard things about them that were not good, would you let them in your house based on what they say or their friends say yes or no? Probably not, because you don’t know them and it is not because of what you heard about it because of what you don’t know about that you would not let them in your house. As you can see that would never work because God knows things about you that you don’t even know about yourself.

People on this planet practice their religion, talking about their good works and then they want God to redeem them from all the sins that they have committed based on their religion (their rules and regulation that they themselves do not keep). How can God trust anybody that does not even keep their own rules? That is what religion is and all religions on the same, but Christianity is not a religion.

To understand what salvation is:

Salvation Examines the biblical concept of salvation as it develops from the sense of physical rescue in the present life (e.g., deliverance from danger or crisis) to the idea of spiritual rescue often associated with the afterlife (e.g., forgiveness from sins, eternal life). This development in the concept of salvation corresponds with changes in beliefs regarding life after death: As views about the afterlife became more optimistic, the understanding of salvation expanded beyond the present world to include hopes for divine deliverance and even resurrection in the world to come.

In the Bible, salvation usually comes from God, Jesus, or an agent of God. Terms for salvation include:

Romans 3:12 (KJV 1900)

12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Romans 3:23 (KJV 1900)

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:22 (KJV 1900)

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

To be a born-again believing Christian and have salvation. You must do three things.

You must believe in your heart that you have sinned against God, which makes you a sinner.

You must believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross for your sins so that you won’t be judged for the sins that you have committed in your life.

You must pledge your allegiance to Christ by making him your Lord and Savior. Savior means he saved you from your sin. When you get to heaven you will be glad that you did make Jesus your Lord and Savior. In heaven you will be rewarded. But everything that you obey Jesus. You have things that does not exist on earth.

Now you must know and understand that you have been born again of the spirit of God, which is now in you. That is why you have a new and Jesus.

All that is necessary is that you believe with your heart, not just the words you say from your mouth.
